Charge "terrorism" Thaksin leaks

Prosecutors dropped charges of terrorism against the fugitive former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra in connection with the riots and revolts of 2010 due to "weak evidence" the attorney general said Athapol Yaisawang.
He said it was a decision taken by his predecessor Chulasingh Vasantasingh, which cited weak evidence as reason not to prosecute Thaksin.

DSI chief Tarita Pengdith said yesterday that the decision of the attorney general was considered final and DSI not reopen the case.
